Design That Starts With the Foot

Most footwear brands begin with a trend report. We begin with anatomy. Every 37 Brand silhouette is developed around the natural geometry of the human foot — the width of the forefoot, the curve of the arch, the angle at which the heel meets the ground. Form follows function, and function is comfort that lasts all day.

Original Silhouettes, Every Season

We do not license silhouettes or adapt existing moulds from third-party factories. Every last we use is developed specifically for 37 Brand — which means our loafers sit differently, our mules carry differently, and our boots close differently than anything else on the market. This is intentional. Originality is not a marketing claim for us; it is a production commitment.

The Role of Istanbul

Istanbul sits at the intersection of two continents and several thousand years of craft tradition. The city’s leather workshops have produced some of the finest footwear in the world for centuries. Our design process draws on this heritage — the attention to edge finishing, the approach to hardware, the understanding of how leather behaves over time — while applying a thoroughly modern aesthetic sensibility.

Our palette is restrained: black, dark brown, tan, taupe, beige, dark mocha. Our hardware is precise: gold or silver tones selected for each specific upper. Our details — tassels, buckles, bead work, fringe, chain — are never decorative for their own sake. Each one earns its place by adding structure, movement, or meaning to the shoe.

Heel Architecture

We produce across the full range of heel types — flat, kitten heel, block heel, platform, lug sole — because different heights serve different purposes and different bodies. Our block heels are engineered for stability, not just height. Our flat soles are built with enough structure to support the arch without restricting natural movement. We do not produce stilettos. We are not interested in shoes that cannot be worn.

Limited Production, Higher Standards

Because we produce in limited quantities, we are able to maintain standards that volume production makes impossible. Every pair is inspected by hand before it leaves our facility. Stitching, edge finishing, sole adhesion, hardware alignment — each element is checked individually. Pairs that do not meet our standard are not sold.

The 37 Brand Customer

Our customer buys fewer shoes and keeps them longer. She is not chasing a trend — she is building a wardrobe of pieces that will still be relevant and still be wearable in five years. She understands that genuine leather ages better than synthetic alternatives, that a well-constructed shoe supports her body, and that original design has a value that mass-produced footwear cannot provide.

We design for her specifically. Every decision we make — material, construction, silhouette, colour, hardware — is made with her in mind.
